Earlier in the week, Mrs. P brought in some cool stuff for us to check out.  We recently spent time learning about Maine mammals.  She had some wood chewed by a beaver and several pelts including skunk, fox and coyote.  It was an interesting way to start the morning.










One of my math groups works on creating visuals to go with addition number sentences.





My daughter visited our class on Tuesday.  She helped out during literacy centers, assisted at a writing table, and read aloud from the Magic Tree House book.  She really loved spending time with the kids.
